Cooperative game theory seminar
Cooperative game theory seminar [NOPT060] in winter semester 2024/2025. It takes place on Mondays 9:00 at Malostranské square, room SW1.
The seminar is loosely connected to [NOPT057] Cooperative Game Theory, which is taught in the summer semester and is led jointly with Prof. Martin Loebl. Attending the lecture is beneficial, but not directly necessary for the seminar.
The aim of the seminar is to bring together students and teachers who are interested in cooperative game theory. It serves primarily as a platform for generating new topics and formulating interesting problems that we subsequently discuss and solve. The direction of the seminar is guided by what interests its participants. We aim to build a community and connect people who can collaborate beyond the seminar itself. Students can also use the seminar to try out what research in mathematics involves, test their abilities, and, based on this experience, continue the seminar work through a bachelor's or master's thesis.
Participation in the seminar is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, and it is not conditional on attending the lecture or any previous knowledge. The content of this year's seminar will be agreed upon...
Credit Requirements
Credit will be granted for active participation in the seminar; however, it is not expected that participants must solve any of the presented problems. Specific parameters will be introduced in the first week of the semester.
