Tutorial for Probability and statistics 2 (NMAI073)

TA: Robert Šámal (and Gaurav Kucheriya)

Rules for credit -- final version
You need to get at least 50 % points from homeworks. If you will lack points, you will be able to make up for it by solving more problems at the end of semester. If you will get more than 50 %, it will translate to some points at the exam. (If you get full 100 % point from homeworks, it will add an extra 10 points to your exam, scaled linearly.)
Sample test
This year there will be no tutorial test (as an experiment). Instead, in the last tutorial (Jan 9) we will go over the solutions of last year's tutorial test. Try to solve it on your own, with 90-minute limit, ideally using just a one-page list of formulas. This way you will be getting more from learning the solution.

Homeworks
to be submitted in the Postal Owl. Let me know if you did not receive enrollment token.
You may submit a handwritten solution (scanned/nicely photographed), a computer prepared pdf file, or you can write the solution in the page using a combination of markdown and tex.
Partial solutions are fine (for a partial credit).
Discussing homework with other students is allowed. However, you should then write the solution yourself (and understand what you are doing). Copying somebody's solution without understanding it (or copying output from some AI) is not allowed.
