I got my PhD from the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Béla Bollobás. Afterwards for two years I worked as an actuarial analyst at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. I returned back to academia, and held postdocs at the Combinatorics Group at University of Birmingham working with Dan Hefetz, Daniela Kühn and Deryk Osthus, at Tel Aviv University working with Asaf Shapira, and at Oxford/Caltech, working with David Conlon. In September 2020 I took up my present position as assistant professor at Charles University.
