Hi all,
This Thursday, instead of the regular seminar meeting, there will be
PhD thesis defense of Michal Opler. Same place (S8), starting time 10:40.
The typical duration is <= 30 minutes talk, <= 30 minutes discussion, <= 30
minutes official stuff (reading the reports etc.), so we should end by the
usual time. The title of the defense is "Structural and Algorithmic
Properties of Permutation Classes". However, everybody should come just to
see what a defense looks like (and to support Michal).
If you are interested in playing ping-pong before the defense, come at the
usual time 9:50 to the usual place (S8). Be there on time, because we'll
play elsewhere in the building and you would hardly find the place.
See you on Thursday,
R & P
