This year a group of 10 Czech students (7 undergraduates and 3 graduates) attend to the Research Experience for Undergraduates programe at DIMACS, Rutgers University. This research visit is supported by Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant.
Students are divided among 3 mentors (Sophie Spirkl, Periklis Papakonstantinou and Bhargav Narayanan). In the first week they met their mentors and started to work on projects. At the end of the first week they presented their projects to the other REU students.
In the meantime students also attended a talk by Neil Sloane about On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences (OEIS), and the talk of Maria Chudnovsky on induced subgraphs and colouring Chudnovsky.pdf
