Limits of order types

Abstract

Order types are basic invariants of finite point sets in combinatorial and computational geometry. 

In a recent joint work with Xavier Goaoc, Rémi de Joannis de Verclos Jean-Sébastien Séréni, and Jan Volec we considered order types from the point of view of "limits of combinatorial objects". 

Guided by analogies with graphons and flag algebras we obtained some new concrete results to old combinatorial problems and draw a number of connections with basic measure theory.
