Dear colleagues,

Welcome to the new mailing list dokt-seminar-l, which should in the future serve for all announcements about doctoral seminar talks and related topics.

The hope is that all the participants will be able to, for example, send their own talk announcements with some of the talk details, potential prerequisites, recommended reading or prepared handout.

I ask all future speakers to post their announcement on Monday or Tuesday before their talk. The recommended title is in the form "Doctoral seminar at 9:50 on Thursday 19 Mar" or similar. Your message can be very brief (and that is perhaps slightly preferred). You can for example include a link to the paper on arXiv. Please post in English.
