TRAVEL INFORMATION

Last update: July 1, added some maps and brief driving instructions.

Bus from Prague to Rynartice and back

We plan to travel to Rynartice from Prague by a special bus departing from Prague at 4 pm on Sunday, August 3; if you can, be at the place already at 3:45 pm so that we can depart on time. We will depart from subway stop "Dejvicka". There is a public transport bus, number 119, from the airport to Dejvicka. The ride of the public bus takes approx. 25-30 minutes (plus waiting time up to 10 minutes). Alternatively, you can use a taxi from the airport, which is slightly faster. If you arrive to Prague by train to the main station "Hlavni nadrazi", you can reach Dejvicka by using two subway lines, first C and then A. (Dejvicka is a terminal station of A.) The ride takes approx. 15-20 minutes (plus waiting time up to 10 minutes).
A = airport, D = departure point Dejvicka (next to hotel Diplomat), R = railway station

New! Detailed information about the departure point: We will enter the bus at Devicka station next to hotel Diplomat. If you can, it is recommended to be at the place already at 15:45 so that we can depart on time. Dejvicka station has two (main) exits, therefore here is the detailed description of the departure point. You can also zoom the map above for the detailed view of the departure point. If you arrive by subway, try to be in the first van of the subway train. Then continue in the train direction searching for pointers to "Evropska trida", "hotel Dipomat" and "Banskobystricka ulice". If you leave the subway according to these pointers, you should see a bus stop. By passing 50 meters along the bus stop, you should reach hotel Diplomat. If you arrive to Dejvicka by bus 119, you should go 50 meters back and you will see hotel Diplomat. If you arrive by taxi, ask the driver to take you to the bus stop in front of hotel Diplomat.

For the way back, we again plan to use a special bus from Rynartice to Prague, Dejvicka. We expect to leave Rynartice at 9 am on Saturday, August 9. We do not recommend to take an airplane from Prague sooner than 3 pm or a train sooner than 2 pm.

Public transport to Rynartice

In principle, it is also possible to reach Rynartice by a public transport within Czech Republic. There is a good train connection from Prague to the town Decin, which is approx. 25 km away from Rynartice. (It is on main railway line from Prague to Berlin and all trains stop there.) Unfortunately, there are only few buses from Decin to Rynartice. In the most of the cases, you will need to take a taxi. Here is where you need to get:

If you plan to drive to Rynartice, use the map above for the target location. In this link to google maps you can find some suggestions how to drive from south-east. On request, we are happy to add more directions. Note, please, that the main Czech highway between Prague and Brno is under reconstruction, which may cause delays.
