HOMONOLO 2019

HOMONOLO 2019

Nová Louka

December 9-13, 2019

Organized by KAM and IÚUK

Supported by DIMATIA and RSJ.

We will follow the informal atmosphere of Prague Midsummer Combinatorial Workshops, in particular participants are welcomed to present some open problems in a 20-30 minute long talk, but no abstracts are required beforehand. The program is decided on the spot, so that enough time remains for discussions, problem solving and sightseeing.

An informal faculty retreat for KAM and IÚUK is planned for Monday afternoon/evening and Tuedsay morning. Martin Balko is a coordinator of the retreat.

Participation (except members of KAM, IÚUK and DIMATIA) is by invitation only. To inquire about that please contact us at homonolo@kam.mff.cuni.cz.

The venue of the workshop is a historic wooden hunters' lodge Šámalova chata far enough from traces of civilization. Sporting activities include cross-country skiing or alternatively mountain biking and table tennis. The lodge is equipped with a sauna.

Tutorial about algorithms for geometric graphs will be given by Paweł Rzążewski during the event. See the the slides from Paweł's presentation
