15th - 19th February 2010, Auckland, New Zealand Organizers: Marston Conder, New Zealand Institute of Mathematics and its Application, Auckland Jan Kratochvil, Charles University, Prague Jozef Siran, Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava This is the second workshop in ATCAGC series; the first was held in February 2009 in Finse, Norway. The main topic is graph coverings and their applications in different areas of mathematics such as algebraic graph theory, models of computation, computational complexity and others. The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers working on these diverse ends of graph coverings, to introduce their approaches and results to one another, and to try to continue joint research combining these areas. Towards this end we plan a small number of survey talks, several open problem sessions, and ample time for discussions and problem solving. The workshop will start on Monday February 15th 2010 at the University of Auckland. Preliminary list of participants:
Recommended accommodation for other potential participants is Quest on Mount" hotel, which is just 5 minutes walk from the Maths Department at the University of Auckland, and the booking will include breakfast. The weather in Auckland in February is usually excellent - the best part of our summer - with temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees C most days, and little rain.
